Chrishell Stause announced her split from musician G Flip in an emotional Instagram video this week, telling fans through tears that she's still in love and doesn't have a clear explanation for why the four-year relationship ended.

"I don't have all the information or the reasons," the Selling Sunset star said in the video, which multiple outlets including Hello! Magazine and The Nightly described as a tearful, unscripted confession posted directly to her followers. G Flip posted a separate statement thanking fans for their support and asking for privacy.

Who ended it

A source told People that G Flip was the one who initiated the breakup, though neither party has publicly detailed what led to the split. The couple met in 2020 and went Instagram-official in 2021, quickly becoming fixtures at award shows and on each other's red carpets. G Flip, the Australian singer-producer known for hits like "About You," proposed in 2023 in a lavish public gesture Stause later called one of the best days of her life. They had been one of reality television's most visible same-sex couples, with their relationship documented across multiple seasons of Stause's Netflix series.

A FAILURE

Stause used that word to describe how the split feels, according to NBC Connecticut's report on the announcement — a rare moment of raw vulnerability from a star known for narrating her own relationship drama on camera for years.

Friends rally around her

Stause's ex-fiancé and former Selling Sunset co-star Jason Oppenheim left a message of support in the comments of her post, and fans flooded both her and G Flip's pages with encouragement. TMZ additionally reported that Stause's "Traitors" co-star Chanel Ayan flew from Dubai to Los Angeles within days specifically to be by her side — a detail not independently confirmed elsewhere but consistent with the wave of public support Stause has received.

What's next

Stause hasn't said whether the breakup will factor into the next season of Selling Sunset, which has leaned heavily on her personal life in the past. Neither she nor G Flip has filed any legal paperwork tied to the split, and both have continued posting separately about work commitments — Stause with the show's upcoming season, G Flip with new music — suggesting neither is pulling back from public life as they process the breakup.
