Heidi Klum Teases Her Most Gruesome Halloween Costume Yet — and Reveals Who Almost Bailed on Her Party
Ahead of her annual Halloween bash this weekend, the queen of the holiday posted a close-up tease of what looks like prosthetic organs and admitted the look is "very, very bloody."

Heidi Klum's Halloween costume has become its own annual event, and this year's build-up is following the same playbook that's made her party the industry's hardest ticket on October 31: tease everything, reveal nothing, and let the internet do the speculating.
On October 24, Klum posted a close-up Instagram photo that appeared to show an array of prosthetic organs, captioning it with a question about what her costume might be this year. She's offered a few more breadcrumbs since, telling People the look is something that "goes very well with red wine" and is, in her words, "very, very bloody." She's also shared Instagram Stories of herself browsing a fabric store, fueling fan theories about exactly what creature she's planning to become this time.
A Decade-Plus of One-Upping Herself
Klum has spent more than two decades turning her own Halloween transformation into a production, and the bar she's set for herself is part of why the teases generate so much attention every year. Her 2025 costume turned her into Medusa, complete with green skin and moving snakes crowning her head; the year before, she and husband Tom Kaulitz appeared as an elaborate two-person E.T. costume. Earlier looks have included a full-body peacock and, memorably, a worm.
"VERY, VERY BLOODY."
In the same round of interviews previewing this year's look, Klum also revealed that one celebrity guest nearly skipped her party altogether this year, though she kept the identity under wraps for now — a tease in itself for a party whose guest list has included everyone from pop stars to Hollywood A-listers in past years. Her Halloween bash, now well into its second decade in New York, has become a fixture of the city's celebrity calendar, drawing a mix of musicians, actors and reality stars who compete almost as fiercely over their own costumes as Klum does over hers.
With the party set for October 31, the final reveal is now just days away. Past years have seen Klum's look go through months of secretive prosthetic work and prop-building before being unveiled in full only on the red carpet, and this year's organ-themed teaser suggests another elaborate, body-horror-adjacent transformation is in the works — continuing a run that has made her, by wide consensus, the undisputed queen of celebrity Halloween.
