Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have officially filed for divorce, closing out a marriage that began with a star-studded 2023 wedding on the Jersey Shore and ended, three years later, with a quiet, uncontested court filing in Brooklyn.

Court records show the actress filed the petition Friday in Kings County Supreme Court, with the case listed as an uncontested matrimonial action — meaning the pair had already worked out terms privately rather than heading toward a legal fight. Neither Qualley nor Antonoff has publicly commented on the filing itself, though a source close to the couple told reporters the split was "mutual" and that the two intend to remain friends.

From a Taylor Swift-filled wedding to a quiet split

Qualley, the "Poor Things" and "Maid" actress, and Antonoff, the Bleachers frontman and Grammy-winning producer for Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and dozens of other artists, began dating in 2021 and married on Aug. 19, 2023, at a small ceremony on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz were among the guests, alongside Qualley's mother, actress Andie MacDowell.

A SOURCE CLOSE TO THE COUPLE CALLED THE SPLIT "MUTUAL" AND SAID THEY PLAN TO STAY FRIENDS.

The couple's split was first reported in July, when People confirmed they had separated after nearly three years of marriage. At the time, a representative for Qualley pushed back on rumors swirling around the breakup, saying there was "no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship." Monday's filing makes the separation legally official, four months after it first became public.

Antonoff has remained one of pop music's most in-demand producers throughout the year, continuing his long-running studio partnerships with Swift and Del Rey, while Qualley has kept a steady film slate following her Oscar-nominated supporting turn in "Poor Things." Neither has addressed how the divorce might affect their professional overlap, which includes mutual friends across the music and film worlds who attended their wedding.

Celebrity-divorce filings in New York are typically kept confidential beyond the basic court docket, and attorneys for neither party have issued public statements. Absent a public dispute over assets or custody — the couple has no children together — the case is expected to move through the court system relatively quickly given its uncontested status.
