Slipknot confirmed it has parted ways with turntablist Sid Wilson, known onstage as "0," after 28 years, saying in an Instagram statement: "Effective immediately, Slipknot will no longer be associated with Sid Wilson… we wish him the best in his future endeavors." Wilson joined in 1998 and appeared on all seven of the band's studio albums; only four original members now remain, per Variety.

The firing follows reports Wilson mistreated bandmates, and lands weeks after his split from ex-fiancée Kelly Osbourne, with whom he shares a 3-year-old son. Osbourne posted, then deleted, a scathing statement aimed at Wilson: "Wake the f**k up and take some responsibility I will not take your s**t anymore! I'm done… can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah, and maybe some child support?" according to Blabbermouth.
