Teddi Mellencamp Reveals 9 More Months of Immunotherapy Ahead in Raw Cancer Update
The RHOBH alum says doctors now find 'no trace' of her stage-four cancer — but the weekly treatment grind isn't over yet.
Teddi Mellencamp gave fans a raw look at her ongoing cancer battle this week, revealing she still has nine more months of weekly immunotherapy treatments ahead of her even as her doctors report no current trace of disease.
The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star documented another round of treatment on social media, calling immunotherapy day her "least favorite day of the month" while acknowledging she's "blessed" to have the support system that makes each session more manageable, according to Parade.
"MY LEAST FAVORITE DAY OF THE MONTH."
Mellencamp's cancer journey has played out publicly over the past two years. Scans previously revealed multiple tumors in her brain and lungs following surgery, a diagnosis that put her cancer at stage four. But after sustained immunotherapy treatment, her doctors reported earlier this year that the tumors had "shrunk or disappeared," and more recently told her there was "no trace of cancer" detectable — even though her diagnosis technically remains stage four, according to E! News.
Despite the encouraging results, Mellencamp has been candid that the treatment itself remains grueling and that her medical team isn't finished. She's previously said she expects to remain on immunotherapy for at least another year while doctors continue monitoring her closely, a timeline that now stretches into 2027 based on her latest update.
Mellencamp, 45, first disclosed a melanoma diagnosis in October 2022 after having a suspicious mole removed. The cancer later spread to her brain and lungs, discovered in early 2025 after she went to the emergency room believing she had migraines and instead learned she needed immediate surgery to remove plum-sized tumors. She has used her platform since to document the reality of treatment in granular detail — including difficult stretches when scans showed the disease had spread rather than retreated. That willingness to share both the setbacks and the good news has made her one of the more closely followed real-time accounts of a celebrity cancer journey in recent memory, with fans and fellow reality stars regularly weighing in with support on her posts.
She has not announced any changes to her work schedule or public appearances as a result of the ongoing treatment, continuing to post regularly across her platforms between sessions.
