Ex-Congressman George Santos Breaks Down and Quits Fox Reality Show
Disgraced former Rep. George Santos tapped out of "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" after instructors called him "pathetic."
George Santos's reality TV career didn't last long. The disgraced former congressman, one of 15 celebrities competing on Fox's "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" in the jungles of Malaysia, voluntarily withdrew from the competition after worsening back and leg pain left him unable to continue.
Instructor Mark "Billy" Billingham didn't hold back, calling Santos a "waste of space" and telling him "you are pathetic" as he walked off the course in tears, becoming the season's third contestant to exit. Santos had warned before filming that he was "overweight" and "not the most physically fit person," saying he planned to "fake it 'till you make it."
