What started as a "Free Palestine" chant is now a full-blown tour crisis. Macklemore says he was dropped from Ed Sheeran's stadium tour after Patriots owner Robert Kraft rallied fellow venue owners to threaten pulling Sheeran's shows unless the rapper was removed, following his keffiyeh-clad performance of "Hind's Hall" at MetLife Stadium.

Kraft confirmed he organized the push, citing what he called antisemitic rhetoric. Sheeran has since publicly addressed the fallout, and the backlash escalated Tuesday when Finneas and other supporting acts announced they were exiting the tour in solidarity, per NBC News.

Macklemore has drawn support from Kehlani, Bella Hadid and members of Congress as the dispute snowballs into one of music's messiest weeks of the year.
