LOS ANGELES — "Reacher" star Alan Ritchson and his wife, Catherine, announced they are ending their marriage after 20 years together, in a joint statement posted to Instagram.

"After twenty years together, Cat and I have decided to end our marriage," the pair wrote, according to TMZ, which first reported the statement. The couple said friendship, grace and "a commitment to becoming the strongest co-parents" they can be was "the best gift" they could give each other and their three sons — Calem, 13, Edan, 12, and Amory, 10 — and asked for privacy as the family moves through the split.

The announcement wasn't entirely a surprise to those tracking the couple's court filings. Records show Ritchson filed to dissolve the marriage back on December 1, 2025, with the pair reportedly reconciling briefly in March before ultimately deciding to move forward with the divorce, per E! News' reporting on the timeline.
