Rick Ross was arrested Thursday in Miami Beach on one felony count of battery by strangulation and one misdemeanor battery charge, after an ex-girlfriend told police he hit her and restricted her breathing during an alleged altercation at his Star Island mansion, according to Billboard. The accuser is reportedly model Jazzma Kendrick, who went public with abuse allegations against Ross in September, posting photos of a busted lip on Instagram.

When Ross's attorney asked a judge for expedited release citing his client's fame, she wasn't moved — telling him flatly, "I have no idea who you are," per TMZ.

Ross posted bond and walked out of jail Thursday insisting he's "totally innocent," with his legal team calling the allegations wrongful. He's pleaded not guilty.
