Olivia Dean's breakout year just hit a legal snag. Mattie Music Group, which controls the late Bill Withers' catalog, is suing Dean's label over her song "I've Seen It," off her acclaimed album "The Art of Loving."

The suit alleges the melody and chord structure are "obvious and inescapable" echoes of Withers' 1981 soul staple "Just the Two of Us," calling the similarities "too striking to be coincidence."

Dean, who scored a breakthrough year in the UK and US, has not personally been named as a defendant — the claim targets her record label — and neither side has publicly commented beyond the court filing.
