Rob Lowe's eldest son, Matthew Lowe, married Emily Markus on Oct. 10 in Santa Barbara, with Gwyneth Paltrow officiating the ceremony — a decades-long friendship that dates back to when Rob's wife, Sheryl Berkoff, did makeup for Paltrow's mother, Blythe Danner.

Guests reportedly included Katy Perry, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Cameron Diaz, Adam Levine, Behati Prinsloo and Maria Shriver, according to Hello! Magazine. Matthew announced his engagement to Markus in July 2025.

The celebration came just days after the family buried Rob's brother Chad Lowe's 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, who died in late September. Chad Lowe and his family attended the wedding — their first public appearance since Fiona's death — and have asked for privacy as they grieve, per The Daily Beast.
