Brittany Cartwright has been granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against estranged husband Jax Taylor, with a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordering the "The Valley" star to stay at least 100 yards away from her, according to TMZ.

In her filing, Cartwright alleges Taylor threatened to "gut her like a fish," physically attacked her and engaged in a pattern of "coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence," per E! News. She also claims Taylor took her $70,000 wedding ring from their home and has not returned it. The judge denied, for now, Cartwright's request for sole custody of the couple's 5-year-old son, Cruz, pending a further hearing.

Taylor responded publicly that he "made a lot of mistakes" during "the darkest time of my life and at the height of my addiction," adding that he has been sober for one year and nine months after treatment.

The pair, who married in 2019 and rose to fame on "Vanderpump Rules" before headlining "The Valley," have not resolved the divorce Cartwright filed for in 2024.
