ABC7 Anchor Liz Cho Seeks Protective Order in Increasingly Bitter Divorce From Josh Elliott
The New York news anchor is asking a Connecticut court to block a deposition her ex's attorneys scheduled without confirming her availability, the latest flashpoint in a divorce trial now pushed to October.
ABC7 New York anchor Liz Cho has asked a Connecticut court for a protective order in her increasingly contentious divorce from former CBS host Josh Elliott — though it has nothing to do with personal safety. Cho is seeking to block a deposition Elliott's attorneys scheduled without first confirming her availability, according to court documents cited by TMZ.
The divorce trial has been pushed to October by Judge Steven Dembo, who has also ordered Cho to disclose more information about a reported $500,000 transfer from the couple's joint account to her teenage daughter from a previous marriage. Elliott filed for divorce in June 2025.
