Comedian Charleston White, 49, was arrested Saturday by Hollywood, Florida police and booked into Broward County jail on a misdemeanor battery charge after a woman using the name Kay Pretty alleged on Instagram that he punched her while she slept.

White's scheduled Wednesday comedy show at Off the Hook in Naples is now in question following the arrest.
