Knicks star Jalen Brunson hosted "Saturday Night Live" for the first time on Sept. 26, becoming the first NBA player to host the show's season premiere since LeBron James in 2007. The episode, Season 52's opener, aired live from Studio 8H in New York, according to NBC.

Girl group KATSEYE made its own SNL debut as the night's musical guest, performing with four of its six members — Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeung — fresh off the release of their third EP, "WILD," and their sold-out "WILDWORLD" tour, per Variety.

Season 52 brings notable turnover to the SNL cast, adding new featured players Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter. Up next: Dakota Johnson hosts Oct. 3 with rock band Turnstile.
