Stray Kids Bump Ariana Grande's 'Petal' From No. 1 With Career-Best Sales Week
"THIS & THAT" debuts atop the Billboard 200 for the group's ninth No. 1 album, pushing Grande's "Petal" down to No. 2 after just one week on top.
Stray Kids scored the biggest sales week of their career, with new album "THIS & THAT" debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated August 22, earning 369,000 equivalent album units in the U.S., according to Luminate. It marks the K-pop group's ninth No. 1 on the chart.
The debut knocks Ariana Grande's "Petal" down to No. 2 after the album spent its first week atop the chart with what Billboard called her best first-week numbers in seven years. Grande's album had swept nearly every major chart upon release, making Stray Kids' takeover one of the bigger chart shakeups of the summer.
