Angel Reese's 30-point, 16-rebound outburst evened the series in Game 2, and the league has bumped Game 3 forward a day to Wednesday night in Atlanta — moving up the entire back half of the schedule with it.

ATLANTA — Game 3 of the WNBA Finals between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream tips off Wednesday night at State Farm Arena, after the league moved the contest up a day from its originally scheduled Thursday slot.

The series is tied 1-1 heading in. Golden State took Game 1 on the road in a tight 68-64 win, with Gabby Williams scoring 26 points and closing out the final 3:12 with a shutout defensive stretch, according to a recap of that contest. Atlanta answered emphatically in Game 2 at Chase Center, routing the Valkyries 79-65 behind Angel Reese's 30 points and 16 rebounds, per ESPN's box score. Veronica Burton led Golden State in that game with 11 points and 7 rebounds.

Schedule Shuffled, Venue Shifted

According to the WNBA's own announcement, Games 3 and 4 will both be played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, with Game 3 now set for Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network and CNBC, streaming on Peacock. Game 4 follows Saturday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. If a decisive Game 5 is needed, it returns to Golden State on Monday, Oct. 26.

GOLDEN STATE IS THE NO. 2 SEED; ATLANTA IS THE NO. 4 — BOTH ARE CHASING A FIRST TITLE.

Both franchises are chasing their first WNBA championship. The second-seeded Valkyries are in just their second season of existence, while the fourth-seeded Dream are back in the Finals for the first time since 2013, having swept the New York Liberty to get here.

With the series now even and shifted to Atlanta for back-to-back games, home crowd energy figures to be a factor for the Dream as they try to seize control before a potential Game 5 on the road. Golden State, meanwhile, will be looking for Gabby Williams and the rest of its roster to bounce back after Reese dominated the boards and the scoring column in Game 2.

Tipoff for tonight's Game 3 is 8 p.m. ET.
